So,
Apparently two Sundays from now, I will have set of keys and two members of staff.
I am totally terrified.
There are so many ‘what-ifs’ running around my head it is craaazy. I mean what if
- The alarms go off on my way in/out
- Someone is late and I have no cover
- someone messes up a transaction and I don’t know how to fix it
- I cash us up/down by like a thousand pounds
- I declare 1.5million…(again, yup did that once already)
- I forget to lock the safe
- I don’t close the shutters
- I totally forget HOW to even cash up
- I don’t put all the correct stuff in the loomis bag
- I don’t lock the door properly
- Something crazy goes down
I could go on, I mean it’s all pretty unlikely - apart from forgetting how to cash up. I suppose if my manager has faith in me and believes I can do it then why shouldn’t I be able to?
Just because some people may doubt my ability to do it doesn’t mean I CAN’T do it right?
Crazy.
